Never had any real problems with them, anytime I called tech support they where quick to fix the problem. Have only been down once, but they had good reason and gave refund. There OK in my Book.

Lately, I have been tinkering with PHP and SQL, and as such, have made some mistakes, and destroying some of my databases, as well as a few failed attempts at backing up and recovering the databases myself. In any case, these were issues that I caused because of my lack of knowledge, and the support team at WestHost was top notch in every case (more than 20 "oops" moments) to get me back up and running.

There is the ocassional downtime, however I have always been notified of downtime at least a week in advance, and the downtime has never been more 10 minutes, and is done in the early morning hours.
I needed webhosting that gave me control over the webserver, php, python, java, ect. I have a virtual server with westhost and static ip address.
WinHost has provided me with practically everything I need.

I was impressed by their marketing of Wordpress hosting packages. I signed up for a hosting account for 6-10 small domains. My traffic was less than 1% of plan and disk space about the same. I have had no real issues since signing on except the occasional highload messages that I receive. Each time I contact them about the message they try to get me to upgrade to VPS but when I refuse everything starts to work properly again. Although it is not a major issue it does tend to become some what of an inconvenience. The inconvenience however is not enough to get me to switch to another hosting service. For the cost, I am happy with the service that they are providing.

I support companies of all sorts and when they ask me about web hosting I always recommend Winhost. I host my own site there as well and have never had any problems that weren't resolved quickly. The tech support staff is awesome and I have never had to wait more than 3 rings to speak to a real person, without and accent I might add. The price is great and while I don't take advantage of nearly half of the options included with a basic package it is impressive to see that they are there if I need them.

I've been with Winhost for five. This is the best company I have every used. I have had issues from time to time but the customoer service has all been very helpful. I especially would like to that Rick for staying on the phone and helping me fix a situation, that I created, for a good 3 hours.

Their prices are really low, If you're running anything in the way of dynamic content, they are the way to go. Their live help is quick to answer online, will be able to help you solve anything. We're on a VPS that has very quick.

They offer a cheap yearly hosting plan. I bought one year from them and at the start there hosting is a little bit choppy. After 2-3 hours the server is up and now I'm happy and satisfied with their hosting cause I really got a good site uptime. Support is however snobbish. I recommend this site for good hosting
