iPage has outstanding customer support. I have experienced several problems in the past, mostly during initial setup. Each time I was pleasantly surprised to speak to an actual person here in the U.S. I don't believe I've ever had to wait on hold for more than a few minutes before speaking with a real human being. I use weebly as my site builder, which is intuitive, and gets the job done. It is kind of limited on layouts, but for a beginner it's fine. I believe iPage has more sophisticated site building programs, but I have not used them. I'm sure they have the same great quality as weebly. I have had several downtime issues, which I had to find out on my own, but thankfully were fixed within 24 hours after talking with customer service. I believe the ability to talk with someone 24/7 in and of itself should keep me a customer for a long time!

I had a different host before, and decided to change over to another due to constant problems and issues. My move to this host was easy and completed with minor tweaks to the site (common with any move). I have 8 websites, and all seem to run fine with this host. I haven't had any problems overall with the sites functioning and being "up". My only complaints are their tech support, which is a complete hit or miss.

I came from another popular web hosting and template company which was much more expensive. After searching for another company I found iPage and I have been extremely happy! Their tech support was very helpful in getting my domain name transferred over and contacted me when they noticed I hadn't designed and put up my site yet. They encouraged me to get started and helped me find their template tools which is what I chose to use. They are always available when I have questions either over the phone or on their great chat feature. And you can't beat the price!!

I chose iPage in part because of this site's reviews. So I thought I would add my review. I transferred a domain that was owned by someone else and hosted elsewhere. I chose iPage, then started the transfer process. I thought it would be simple, but I was wrong. Thank goodness for iPage's 24/7 support staff. They provided helpful and timely responses to every question. They walked me through transferring everything from another owner with another hosting provider, and then getting everything pointed at my site I created on Weebly. Everything is up and running as intended, and I have nothing but great things to say about iPage. iPage has earned my business for as long as I need to keep my website running!

I was able to utilize their tools and upload our site in a matter of minutes. Their documentation is great, their response times are excellent, and their costs minimal. I was even able to set up my e-mail account on Outlook myself.

Not only is it easy to set up, but ipage also provides a number of tutorials and helpful FAQs. The control panel is intuitive and offers quick access to the available tools, such as the DomainCentral, MailCenter and the various web site tools. In addition, the ipage Customer Support stuff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

I was looking to set up a website for our bar in China. The internet recommended ‘ipage’. I dropped Ipage a message and asked if there would be any server issues running a site in China. They said no, and it was love from that point on. I have not had any issues, besides the occassional down time and everything has been running smoothly.

I don't know why everyone bashes ipage, They offer unlimited mysql database for fair usage with little to no downtime. You get all you need- moodle, PHP, Perl, Gbook Google and Yahoo marketing credits, wordpress, SuagrCMS and then some.

iPage is a shared hosting site so all domains hosted use the same IP address. Unfortunately, this IP address is blocked in China, so people in China can’t see your web site. Other than this I have not had any problems with them. They assure me that they are working on the China issue so I am sticking around to see how it all turns out.

Ipage is good for Wordpress bloggers. It installs in minutes and ready to use. I had a little problem and contacted the live chat. The support was great, they put me on hold for a couple minutes and the problem was solved. I can fully recommend them!

I use iPage and recommend it to my graphic design clients. I appreciate that it's simple to start a new account, the control panel is easy to use and the customer service is excellent. You won't wait on hold long and you can talk to a helpful tech support staff whenever you need too. I've also never had any downtime on my site!
