They'll spend as much time as I need to solve a problem and have saved my backside numerous times. They even helped me connect my office database with a MySQL database at the server -this has always worked. Uptime is great. Never once have I seen a hidden charge and I've never been asked to pay anything extra for tech support -zip-zero.

Frankly, I'm baffled by the negative reviews I have been seeing on the internet - because as a long time customer I probably would've come across a bad tech support rep here or there... but I have not. In fact, I accidentally deleted an ENTIRE website on a Thesis Wordpress installation. My most recent local backup was from 12 months ago. Bluehost had multiple backups from yesterday, a week ago, a month ago, etc. to restore files and compare. I worked with Jim and he was SO reassuring and we walked through merging my old backup with Bluehost's backup and fixing some permission issues, etc. and got the site back up in > 30 minutes.

I've been a Bluehost customer for about 4 years and host approximately 40-50 websites. Basically, our server has been super reliable and I have never heard any complaints from my customers on uptime, etc. Support: This is where Bluehost shines, in my opinion

We are now moving to BlueHost and I've had to call them for tech support. I have to say these guys are great. One of the calls involved a shopping. They spent almost an hour with me & resolved my problem at no cost. My old web would have taken three days and charged us $200 an hr.

I was having problems on my site and called customer service (at 2am). Most people would be grumpy and not really want to help you at this hour but Rob was cheerful and helpful. We were on the phone for almost 2 hours and he never got agitated by me not understanding what he was saying. The problem was resolved and I was so happy with the service I was provided. I hope Rob gets a big raise for all that he did for me last night.

The price is great for what you get. The customer support is always friendly. They will bend over backwards to please you. I've been with them for almost three years now and no real complaints. There was one time where they hadn't totally set up an SSL cert that I bought (or didn't set it to auto-renew, something with billing) and we had to get that sorted out but other than that, it's a great company. I love how I have 15 domain names on one account. Money-saver right there! Download/page load speeds are just fine, too.

The BH customer service has been helpful on three fronts: 1. online video tutorials 2. responsive community/discussion board 3. online "live" chat with a real person. In the latter instance, I was using iWeb to create a custom site instead of using one of the included template providers or WP. I was having trouble uploading the site correctly from within the iWeb program. I was able to talk to a support person in less than a minute, he was able to diagnose my error, then stayed with me until the site went live.

This host is awesome! You actually get support! Don't you hate it when you call for support and you know more than the person you are talking to. This won't happen at bluehost. They also give you 2 gigs of space and 75 gigs of transfer. They even offer over 50 free scripts at the touch of a button. I have finally found a home for my site, and Im not moving anytime soon!

After my previous nightmarish experience with another hosting company, Bluehost is heaven. No problems at all. I have 4 domains on one account and have had no downtime. On the few occasions I've called their tech support I was thrilled to speak to someone whose first language is English and who actually knew what they were talking about.

On the surface Bluehost looks great. Tons of storage and bandwidth for 7 bucks a month. They also have a great support staff.
However, they even get better, once your business grows and you need additional services, they really step up to support you and your business.

Man I have been around the block many times, and few companies follow up their SLA (service level agreement) like Blue Host does. It has been a real pleasure to have a hosting company respect your web business and make sure that your website is live 100% of the time. We have had a few problems now and again, and Blue Host has constantly stepped up and resolved our issues.

I actually wish Bluehost would charge more for their hosting, and invest in more tech support. Maybe it's just the dim questions I tend to ask, but rarely do I call their tech support without getting the distinct impression that the guy is gritting his teeth in irritation at having to talk with me.
